Thanksgiving Weekend!

I can't believe I hadn't been home in 3 months! It was so great to see everyone!! :)

We had classes Monday and Tuesday but I just couldn't bring myself to stay.
McKaylee and I left on Friday right after classes. I am sooo grateful that she wanted to come to Boise and so she could drive us both!

Filling up and getting ready! :)

We were a little excited!

So we headed out and made a stop along the way.... Logan!
Natalie was having a baby shower and I'm so glad I got to go!

We had to grab a bite to eat, and we met this cow!
She got some really cute stuff and it was great to see her.
So we left Logan around 8:30 and headed for Boise!
We arrived in Boise at around 1:30. Dad knew I was coming so he left the door open.
I jumped in Mom's bed and woke her up. She was shocked!
I loved surprising her. :)

We had to hit the mall... of course! so we saw Santa!!

Preston was a good sport and took some pics with us! :)

Lets be honest... he had fun!

 And we definitely did!

So McKaylee left to go back to Alpine on Wednesday so she could have Thanksgiving with her family!
We missed her!

We went to Festival of Trees on Thanksgiving day! It was beautiful and brought back memories!

Mommy and ME! I miss you!

Mom and Dad! I miss you guys soooo much!!!

The sisters! We had a great time together!

We went to every tree together and had an amazing time.

Of course I got a picture with the animals!

IACURH

Intermountain Affiliate of College and University Resident Halls
Now that's a mouthful!

I'm apart of a council that decides on programs (activity with a purpose) for the residents in my housing area.
I was chosen, along with 12 other people, to go to Montana as a delegate of BYU.

Day 1
We headed out in the van at 7am. It had been a long week of planning and we were very sleep deprived.

We stopped along the way in Rexburg so Paul came and said hi!

Me, Jason, and Aubree
The three of us got really close. We were the people who came up with the role call for BYU.
Literally 17 hours and many all nighters later, we became best friends!

 Jason makes a great pillow.

The first night once we finally arrived at Montana State. All of the schools were cheering and yelling and we were just happy to get out of the car!

Some of our delegation--Kara, Skyler, Aubree and Jason

Me and McKay!
Day 2-- We were pretty tired but ready to see what this conference was going to bring us.

McKinley and me! He was kinda tired!

We had to submit programs (activity with a purpose) and our group was chosen so 3 of us presented our great idea!

McKay and ME!

Us... again... we were kinda tired and losing our minds!

I don't even know if I can explain.....

But the boys wanted to get in on the fun!

Waiting for the shuttle to take us back to the hotels!

About to do our role call! We were a little nervous!

Banquet! I know... we're classy!

Us and Amir from the University of New Mexico!

Some random guys from Wyoming. We made them take pics with us! haha

The WHOLE delegation!

We made a piano! These are friend from Utah State and Arizona State!

This was a fun, sleepless night!

Day 3-- Our journey home! I don't think I've ever slept so much in a car!

Last picture on the ride home! :(

This conference was one of the highlights of this year and I will always have these great friends! I love all of these people!

Best Friend's Visit

My best friend and her boyfriend, who just so happens to be one of my great friends, came to visit me!
It was absolutely the best! I missed them so much!!

Checking out my room! While Skype-ing my parents.

She is quite the artist and I think the addition to our room was greatly appreciated!

A classic for us! :)

We visited the lake! :) COLD!

Best Buds!

Can you tell we missed each other??

Yep, we're classy!

Of course, they had to come to a BYU game!

My best friends!

Love you guys! Thank you so much for coming to see me. It meant the world to me and I can't wait to have a fun weekend again soon!

Sunday Shooting

I have to say this was one of my favorite days at college! A Sunday shooting trip.... I love my ward and all my fun classes but nothing beats guns and friends! (Except family- of course!)

The Krü(s)- Us and some of the kids.

McKaylee and I... Ya we're kinda a big deal! You better watch your back!

Mark with the Kill Shot!

Me and Ben with a little healthy competition.

1..2..3... Shoot!

One of my favorite pics! If only I was better with a shotgun...

I have to say thanks to McKaylee's dad for being so great to us! Her whole family treats us like family! Love all of them! Oh and for my mother-- most of these shots were staged. :) all but the last!

BYU

I started this year at BYU! I was a little worried about coming here and fitting in but I have never been more sure that BYU is the place for me. I have met some of the most amazing people ever!

I drove down to Provo on Sunday and ended up being able to move in that day. I love my room... although rather small, it works for what I need.

The next day I had to be at check in for a Foundations of Leadership Conference. This was a great experience and taught me a lot. I learned all about taking my leadership skills and using then in a better way by involving the gospel in all aspects. At FOL I met some of the best people ever! We were all in groups and my group (holla group 14) was the best! I also met people outside my group... the night before we left I randomly sat between a guy and a girl from a different group. Lets just say it was the best random thing I've done in a long time. I sat between McKaylee Humphrey and Mark Marcanto and we had a blast. But more about them later.

At FOL different student groups came up to talk to us about being involved and having the most fun at BYU. One group was CougarUnited- basically the spirit commitee of collage. They get everyone pumped and ready for the games by having tailgates, giveaways and tons of other fun stuff. I sat in my seat listening to them and knew I would be apart of that. Afterwards I walked up and told them I wanted to be on the CougarUnited council. They seemed to love my enthusiasm and said ok. So now I'm the first freshman rep on CougarUnited and it's already been a blast.

After I got back to campus I met my roommate, Summer. She's great and we have lots of fun! Our room is super cute and decked out. The BYU football poster is of course the main focus of the room.

I met up with a lot of McKaylee's friends from home (Conneticut) and they are all tons of fun. We've had birthday extravaganzas and tons of fun. From this group, Krü3 was born. We are the bast and have so much fun together. From Wal-mart runs to John Mayer concerts to the CANYON to our table at the Cannon. We all love each other and have tons of fun! and this is almost Krü3.

To say the least I have been having a blast and I love BYU! I miss my family tons!
